Comb-like brainslice electrode
This electrode is suitable for conducting the action potentials of a brain slice. The comb-like electrode row is located at the end of a 10 cm long handle which is gripped by a 6 mm diameter metal cylinder. This can be adjusted to the correct position using a stereotaxic device. The end of the electrode is bent so that it is in almost vertical contact with the brain slice after insertion, so that the examined area remains clearly visible. The number of discharge points can be 16, 24 or 32 and their diameter is 15, 20 or 25 microns.
